Madhumita is an experienced certified CMMI High Maturity Lead Appraiser and Global IT and Business transformation leader having total 25 years of SW IT working experience ,out which 15 years of experience with IBM GBS.

She is one among the first ten High Maturity Lead Appraisers in the world to be authorized by Software Engineering Institute (SEI) , USA .Also worked as “ SEI Research Affiliate” with SEI – Software Engineering Measurement Analysis (SEMA) group in Pittsburgh- USA https://resources.sei.cmu.edu/library/results.cfm?as_q=inmeta:gsataxonomyoutput~CMMI.Presently  working as a core member of CMMI-NextGen Model – Architecture group. 

She has successfully completed more than 35 CMMI appraisals  includes high maturity appraisal in Industries like SW / IT / Telecommunications etc ranging from a total head count of more than 80,000 to less than 50 within India, US, china and also world-wide.

  • She has led CMMI appraisal / PCMM process improvement journey for IBM, Energy Australia, Amex, DBS, Maybank, ING-Bank, K-Bank, Bank Of Montréal, BNP Paribas, Malaysian Airlines System (MAS), Intellect, PositiveEdge, MMAD Apps, RAMINFO, Prescient Technologies etc. across India, Singapore, USA, Latin America(LA), UK, Dublin, Canada, Japan, China, Romania, Egypt, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia etc.  

  • She has specialized experience in SW process and performance improvement, quantitative measurement as a part of Organization’s Business Transformation, Service excellence & various CMMI initiatives in  global organizations like IBM etc. Along with her roll as CMMI process coach & high maturity Lead appraiser and ISO 9001 lead auditor in MNCs/ corporate organization’s .She is also well known for driving operational excellence, client relationship typically from delivery excellence point of view and also leading in delivery operations by reengineering the process, implementing & improving the control measures, performance and productivity. She has outstanding strengths in fostering sustained client relationships improving and aligning client’s Key Performance Improvement (KPI) performance, bringing consistencies and improving integrations, across various delivery centers for software services businesses from the inception stage till delivery to clients leveraging TSP & PSP methodology which helps organizations establish a mature and disciplined operational practices . Her competency, capability and over all experience in the areas of conducting CMMI appraisal, improving organization’s end to end software delivery process, performance, metrics, business strategy transformation & operation with varied worldwide global organization like IBM, ITIL and LK Global. in the service sectors like banking / financial, telecommunication, healthcare, Government, energy – utility related clients.
